Our Footprint slippers are rather spacious and offer the feet enough room to unfold without being constricted.
The opening is wide enough to easily slip into the slipper without having to use your hands.
Due to the open heel area, this model is primarily held on the foot over the instep. Depending on the foot shape, it may happen that you slip out of the back of the slippers when walking. Size recommendation: if you are between two sizes, you should choose the smaller size.
Felt is largely self-cleaning and not very susceptible to dirt. However, eventually it will be time for a cleaning. Here's how:
- Preparation: First, tap out the slippers and brush off any dirt, e.g., with our felt brush.
- Hand wash: We recommend hand washing, but WoolFits with leather soles can also be machine washed.
- Washing machine: Use the delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Do not use aggressive detergents. Instead, use a mild wool detergent.
- Care: Additionally, after washing, the shoes can be treated with our Lanolin Wool Cure to restore the natural properties of the wool (dirt and water repellent).
- Drying: After washing, stuff the damp shoes with newspaper and let them air dry at room temperature.

The leather sole is very stable and can be used outdoors (except in wet conditions). However, it quickly discolors dark when used outdoors, so we recommend using the shoes indoors if possible. Pointed stones can also damage the sole. The average lifespan of our leather soles is 2-4 years.

The Footprint is one of our first slipper models and embodies everything we strive for with WoolFit.
We have moved away from stiff, uncomfortable footbeds and the problems of cold or sweaty feet.
Instead, our goal was to create a slipper that embodies softness, comfort, warmth, and flexibility - true delight for your feet. This is how the WoolFit Footprint was created, the first barefoot slipper on the German market.
What makes the Footprint special is not only that it is hand-felted in one piece, but also the thick felt layer integrated into the slipper, which allows your foot to leave its own individual footprint after a short period of wearing. Hence the name Footprint.
This slipper adapts to your foot, instead of you having to adapt to it.
Who is the Footprint suitable for?
The Footprint is perfect for those who don't prefer rigid footbeds and instead long for maximum softness and comfort. The version with a natural rubber sole is right for you if you have very slippery floors at home.
It is also the perfect choice for lovers of barefoot walking. Its flexible rubber sole allows for a natural rolling motion of the foot, while its foot-friendly shape grants additional toe freedom. Another advantage of the felt is that it gives slightly, so your feet never feel constricted.
Thanks to their exceptionally soft and seamless felt processing, these slippers are also particularly comfortable for people with sensitive feet. We have already received numerous positive feedbacks from people suffering from rheumatism or bunions, who greatly appreciate the comfort of the Footprint.
The Footprint is, by the way, a great slipper all year round and is nevertheless also excellently suited for cold days, as the thick felt layer provides optimal insulation against cold floors. For all those who need even more warmth and who love the Footprint footbed, we can also recommend our ankle-high slipper Yeti. That's essentially the Footprint as a boot.
How is the footprint made?
The Footprints are made using traditional manufacturing techniques. This means they are hand-felted directly around the last using the wet felting process. This requires a great deal of strength and skill. An interesting fact for all those who didn't know yet: Only wool, water, and soap are needed for felting.
Once the felt sock around the last is finished and dry, it's time for further processing. Here, the soles are cut out, glued to the shoe, and additionally sewn. Of course, our logo must not be missing to make the slippers WoolFits.
Natural & high-quality materials
For the WoolFit Footprint, we rely on selected raw materials: 100% natural virgin wool, genuine leather, and natural rubber.
The extra-soft merino wool for our slippers, which are handcrafted in Nepal, comes from New Zealand and is mulesing-free. Merino wool feels pleasantly soft against the skin and ensures a high level of comfort.

The WoolFit Footprint is produced in a small Nepalese manufactory. Production is a social project that offers women from socially disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to support themselves independently of their husbands and to provide their children with an education.

Alles perfekt, Größe normal, bequemes Fußbett, wohlig warm. Mag ich gar nicht ausziehen:)
Habe heute meine Footprint Barfußhausschuhe bekommen. Trage sie seit einigen Stunden und liebe sie schon jetzt: sie sind wie versprochen unheimlich bequem, halten warm ohne zu schwitzen und die Gummisohle aus Naturkautschuk gibt auch auf glatten Böden sicheren Halt!

Sehr bequem, könnten aber etwas enger sein, da ich sehr schmale Füße habe. Schön kuschelig warm bin zufrieden bin zufrieden.
Ich bin absolutee barfuß Geherin auch in Haus und Garten und war daher sehr skeptisch ABER: mein Hallux vagus nörgelt nicht, meine Füsse sind nun ständig warm, selbst auf der feuchten Wiese hat der Schuh mich bisher überzeugt. Hab mir Fils-Pantoffel gesucht wie ich sie früher (als Kind) von meiner Großmutter gemacht bekommen habe und bin zufällig auf WoolFit gestoßen.

Angezogen und was soll ich sagen: "Wie von Großmama und soooo kuschlig warm", besser geht nicht.
Größenangabe passt zu normaler Schuhgröße (müssen sich halt noch "anpassen")

Bin total begeistert von diesen tollen Barfußhausschuhe Footprint mit Naturgummisohle. Reinschlüpfen, wohlfühlen und nie mehr kalte Füße. Sie sind super bequem und so weich. Das waren nicht die ersten und auch nicht die letzten. Werde wieder welche bestellen! Passen einwandfrei. Sogar Lieferung ging schnell. Klare Empfehlung dafür 👍👍👍
Seit Jahrzehnten trage ich Wollfilz Hausschuhe verschiedenster Hersteller. Trotzdem hatte ich im Winter nicht warm genug vom Fußboden her.
Dieser Schuh entspricht nun endlich d e r Wärmeisolation die ich brauche. Am Anfang war leider der rechte Schuh im Rist ziemlich eng, sodass ich den nur mit Schmerzen Anschlüssen konnte. Mit stabilen Holzspannern und Keilen unter Dampfeinwirkung gelang es mir den Rist einen Hauch zu dehnen. Ist immer noch stramm aber schmerzfrei anzuziehen.
Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen, eindeutige Kaufempfehlung
Der Schuh hat sich sehr schnell an den Fuß angepasst. Außergewöhnlich gemütlich und warm. Der warme rote Ton macht den Schuh zu einem Hingucker. Tolles Unternehmen mit einer wunderbaren Philosophie.

Kuschelig und 🤩 schön
Die Hausschuhe sind mollig warm. Ich trage sie mit und ohne Socken. Sie sind bequem und ich habe reichlich Platz für meine breiten Füße.
Habe die Hausschuhe nun seit zwei Wochen täglich im Gebrauch. Sie sind sehr leicht, tragen sich angenehm und sind super warm.
Der Einstieg ist allerdings etwas knapp, was dazu führt, dass ich zum Anziehen einen Schuhlöffel benutze. Dies hat auch den Vorteil, dass der Einstieg an der Verse nicht zusätzlich abgenutzt wird. An dieser Stelle wäre meines Erachtens eine Einfassung mit Leder sehr sinnvoll.
Bin von den Schuhen begeistert und kann sie vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen.

Platz für die Füße und trotzdem schlappern sie nicht rum.
Allein der Verpackungsaufwand ist so liebevoll und informativ, eine wahre Freude, danke dafür. Der Schuh selbst ist angenehm warm, ohne schwitzig zu sein, total fluffig und weich, trotzdem haltgebend, einfach super bequem. Die Sohle ist absolut rutschsicher und durch den erhöhten Rand gibt es keine nassen Füsse auf feuchtem Boden. Sieht auch noch gut aus und macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck.
Zuvor hatten wir immer Hausschuhe von der Konkurrenz, aber ab jetzt steigen wir ganz klar um.
Die Barfuß Schuhe sind unglaublich bequem, warm und laufen sich durch die dicke Sohle wirklich wie auf Wolken. Toll ist auch das man durch die Kautschuk Sohle auch mal ums Haus oder zum Briefkasten kann. Für fußkalte Wohnungen/Häuser nur zu empfehlen.
Die Hausschuhe sind wunderbar warm, kuschelig weich und fühlen sich an als würde man „Barfuß“laufen.
Außerdem sehen sie auch noch gut aus.
