Our Footprint slippers tend to run roomy and offer feet enough space to spread out without feeling constricted.
The opening is wide enough to easily slip into the slipper without having to use your hands.
Due to the open heel area, this model is primarily held on the foot by the instep. This means that, depending on the foot shape, you may occasionally slip out of the back of the slippers when walking. Sizing recommendation: if you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size.
Felt is largely self-cleaning and not very susceptible to dirt. At some point, however, it's time to clean it. Here's how: First, shake out and brush off dirt (e.g., with our felt brush). We recommend hand washing, but WoolFits with leather soles can also be machine washed. Important: use a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Afterward, stuff the damp shoes with newspaper and let them dry at room temperature. Do not use harsh detergents; instead, use something like our plastic-free organic wool shampoo to protect the wool. Additionally, after washing, you can treat the shoes with our lanolin wool treatment to restore the natural properties of the wool (dirt and water repellent). The leather sole is very durable and can be used outdoors (except when wet). However, it quickly discolors dark when used outdoors, so we recommend only using the shoes indoors if possible. Sharp stones can also damage the sole. The average lifespan of our leather soles is 2-4 years.
Our shoeboxes are made from recycled paper and also double as shipping boxes. This saves us one box and a lot of packaging waste with every shipment. We have tried to make our packaging as minimalist and yet as lovingly designed as possible.
We ship shoes carbon neutrally with DHL GoGreen, which offsets the resulting CO2 emissions by investing in climate-positive projects. Our tape is also plastic-free.
Insoles are shipped free of charge by letter within Germany.

Ich habe meine schönen roten Hausschuhe nun seit ein paar Tagen. Sie sind schon warm und weich am Fuß und tragen sich herrlich ganz ohne Socken. Auf eure Schuhe bin ich durch eine Freundin aufmerksam geworden, die ihre Schuhe bereits ein Jahr trägt und viel trägt und sehr zufrieden ist. Meine Entscheidung mich an eure Größenangaben zu halten war goldrichtig.. Ich habe die kleinere Größe gewählt, da sich mein Fußgröße zwischen zwei Schuhgrößen liegt. Die Idee mit der Ledersohle finde ich gut, so können sie Schuhe auch mal nach draußen gehen. Mal sehen, wie glatt sie, die Sohlen, nach ordentlichem Gebrauch werden.
Da ich seit vielen Jahren auch Gebrauchsgegenstände filze, weiß ich, was in einem Paar Schuhe an Arbeit steckt.. Meine Schuhe waren eher dünn und leicht, mit einer flüssig Latexsohle, gut zum verreisen, unbeschwert für kleinere Kinderfüße
