Felt is largely self-cleaning and not very susceptible to dirt. At some point, however, it is naturally time for a cleaning. Here's how:
- Preparation: First, tap out the slippers and brush off the dirt, e.g. with our felt brush.
- Hand wash: We recommend hand washing, but WoolFits with leather soles can also be machine washed.
- Washing machine: Use the gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Instead, use a mild wool detergent.
- Drying: After washing, stuff the damp shoes with newspaper and let them dry at warm room temperature.
You can find more information in our care tips.
The leather sole is very durable and can be used outdoors (except when wet). However, it discolours quickly, so we recommend using the shoes indoors if possible. Pointed stones can also damage the sole. The average lifespan of our leather soles is 2-4 years.
As an online retailer, we are committed to sustainability to enable guilt-free shopping. Our packaging is designed to be as environmentally friendly and thoughtful as possible.
We ship shoes climate-neutral with DHL GoGreen. Our boxes are made from recycled material and sealed with plastic-free tape to ensure easy recycling.

WoolFit comfort with leather instead of wool - that's what Tuffeln are.
If you love the comfort of WoolFit but are looking for a slightly firmer, everyday shoe, the Tuffeln Leather Clog Helgoland is the right choice.
It combines high-quality leather with a comfortable footbed and easy slip-on access – for home, garden, workshop, patio, and short errands.

Get in comfortably, continue relaxed.
The footbed comfortably supports your foot and ensures a pleasant walking experience in everyday life. Our Helgoland clogs are therefore not only for home use but ready for a stroll.
They are cut slightly narrower than comparable clogs, which means they fit better on the foot and are less bulky. If you have wider feet, we recommend choosing one size larger.
However, there is always sufficient toe freedom.

That's a nasty trick.
For our Tuffeln, we use high-quality Italian cowhide leather, which is both durable and pleasantly soft against the skin.
The tannery is FQC-audited, a member of the Leather Working Group, and has been awarded LWG Gold Status. Furthermore, the leather is certified free of Chrome VI.
The leather is available either as particularly robust oiled leather or the slightly more elegant suede leather.
Whichever leather you choose, our Tuffeln are made to last for many summers and will only become more comfortable over time.

Made in the EU - with materials from the EU
Our Tuffeln clogs are made in a family-run business in Bulgaria that is led by women. The leather comes from Italy, where it is also tanned.
Our specially developed soft cork-latex footbeds come from Spain – the home of the cork oak and globally renowned for producing high-quality cork footbeds. They combine natural materials with high comfort and pleasant cushioning with every step.

Stylish, comfortable, durable
Enough said, time to try them on 😊
Fit Recommendation: We recommend ordering the slippers in your usual size. If you are between two sizes or have slightly wider feet, please choose one size up, as the shoes run a bit narrower.
