Felt is largely self-cleaning and not very prone to dirt. However, at some point, it's time for a cleaning. Here's how:
- Preparation: First, tap out the slippers and brush off the dirt, e.g. with our felt brush.
- Hand wash: We recommend hand washing, but WoolFits with leather soles can also be machine washed.
- Washing machine: Use the gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Instead, use a mild wool detergent.
- Drying: After washing, stuff the damp shoes with newspaper and let them dry at warm room temperature.

The leather sole is very durable and can be used outdoors (except in wet conditions). However, it will quickly darken and discolor, so we recommend using the shoes indoors if possible. Sharp stones can also damage the sole. The average lifespan of our leather soles is 2-4 years.

New: the WoolFit Sherpa – with integrated footbed: ideal for normal and narrow feet.
Many customers wanted a slipper that is also suitable for narrow feet – others a model with a classic footbed. With the WoolFit Sherpa, we fulfill both wishes.
The fit is ergonomic, so the soft felt hugs the foot like a second skin. Wide feet should choose one size larger.
The integrated footbed with longitudinal arch support ensures a secure hold and relieves the feet when standing for long periods. It consists of two flexible parts that allow for a natural rolling motion and gently activate the foot muscles.
Traditionally hand-felted with a unique color gradient
Visually, the Sherpa stands out from the classic look with soft pastel shades and a subtle color gradient – perfect for anyone who likes it a bit more refined and natural. The Sherpas are plant-dyed 🌱
As always with WoolFit, we rely on 100% natural, mulesing-free virgin wool and traditional craftsmanship – with the Sherpa in combination with a leather outsole for quiet, smooth walking on all surfaces.
Who is the Sherpa suitable for?
The Sherpa is ideal for anyone longing for maximum softness, breathable comfort, and light support – without a rigid footbed, but with natural stability.
It is particularly suitable for normal and narrow feet. The felt yields slightly and adapts gently, creating a comfortably supportive yet never restrictive wearing sensation. If you have wide feet, you should choose the Sherpa one size larger.
With its seamless felt construction and soft leather sole, the Sherpa is particularly comfortable for sensitive feet.
Thanks to its thick felt layer, it keeps you toasty warm in winter and maintains a comfortable temperature even on warmer days – a slipper for all seasons.
The low heel edge also makes it easier to slip on and provides even more convenience.
How is Sherpa made?
Each WoolFit Sherpa is crafted by traditional handwork – using the elaborate wet felting process, where the shoe is felted directly around the last. This technique requires a lot of experience, strength, and dexterity.
The flowing color transition emphasizes the hand-felted character and makes each pair truly unique.
After drying, the leather sole is cut, glued, and additionally stitched – for lasting hold and natural flexibility.
Finally, each pair receives the typical WoolFit logo – as a sign of true craftsmanship and durable quality.

Nachdem die Barfußschuhe als zu groß zurückgingen habe ich mich nochmal unentschieden: sehr bequem, passen genau, Füße sind warm. Top Empfehlung
Ich habe mir zwei paar Hausschuhe gekauft, die einen trage ich mit, die anderen ohne Strümpfe. Die Schuhe sind sehr bequem und halten die Füße warm, ich möchte sie nicht mehr missen.

Nachdem ich jahrelang die Footprints hatte und sie immer geliebt habe, habe ich diesmal diese bestellt, sie sind schmäler geschnitten, aber normale Socken passen trotzdem gut rein. Ich finde das eingebaute Fußbett angenehm, man merkt es eigentlich nicht, nur der Schuh behält seine Form vermutlich länger.
Optisch gefallen sie mir sehr gut mit dem helleren Rand. Wer breite Füße hat oder gerne noch dicke Socken darin trägt, sollte eher Footprints nehmen.
Dieser Schuh ist perfekt denn er hat alles was ein Fuß sich zu Hause wünscht zum wohlfühlen, er ist bequem, weich und warm und auch optisch ein Hingucker. Ich bin 72 Jahre und somit ist es optimal das ich einfach reinschlüpfen kann und die Sohle rutschfest ist.

Lieferung schnell erhalten. Die Hausschuhe sind wohlig warm und auch barfuß super angenehm zu tragen. Ich habe keine Schweißfüße darin.
Auf alle Fälle immer 1 Größe größer nehmen 😉 aber ansonsten super warm und bequem

Endlich Pantoffeln die halten was sie versprechen. Warme Füße ohne zu schwitzen. Größe passt perfekt. Tragegefühl sehr leicht und angenehm:-)
Bin superzufrieden! Erst eine Nummer zu klein bestellt (bin zwischen Größe 38/39), weil es stand dabei, eher die kleinere Größe nehmen….darüber hat sich meine Tochter gefreut. Die nächsten dann in Größe 39 bekommen- passen perfekt!👍🏾

Die Hausschuhe sind super gefilzt und gefertigt. (Ich bin sehr lange mit, von mir selbst, hergestellten Filz Hausschuhen auf den Markt gegangen und kenne mich aus) Leider drücken sie vorn den grossen Zeh gegen die anderen Zehen, sprich sie sind mir dort zu schmal und sie halten nicht gut am Fuss da sie recht grosszügig eingeschnitten sind. (Die Öffnung, was aber wahrscheinlich den diversen Risthöhen geschuldet ist) Ich hatte sie schon zu lange an, um sie noch zurück zu schicken, da ich dachte, dass sie sich noch dehnen aber dies ist bisher nicht der Fall und schmerzt auch. Ich gebe euch trotzdem 4 Punkte wegen der Art der Herstellung. (Fair produziert)

Ich bin begeistert über die perfekte Verarbeitung der Hausschuhe.
Ich trage noch nicht sehr lange die Hausschuhe, aber ich bin begeistert, ich kann das nur Jedem empfehlen.
Habe immer warme Füße.
Diese Hausschuhe wurden verschenkt und kamen super an. Passten wie angegossen (41) und wurden als sehr bequem bezeichnet.
