Soft, antibacterial felt made from 100% wool

The approximately 7mm thick felt is made from 100% natural virgin wool. The material insulates perfectly against cold from the ground and gently cushions every step. This ensures a wonderfully comfortable wearing experience. Real felt naturally offers an antibacterial effect, which always maintains a pleasant, fresh climate.

How do the insoles fit?

The insoles fit true to size and are perfect for all our WoolFit® slippers with insoles. However, they can also be worn in all other slippers, street shoes and boots with enough space, to enjoy a wonderfully comfortable, soft wearing experience everywhere. If in doubt, we recommend ordering one size larger, as they can also be easily cut to size with scissors.

Fair & environmentally friendly production

The insoles are produced in Kyrgyzstan in a women-led manufactory. The remuneration of the felt artists is well above the Kyrgyz average.

Neither plastic nor chemicals are used in production, as felting only requires wool, water, and a little soap.

Wool Collection Stations: In Kyrgyzstan, there are more sheep than people, so the demand for wool there is more than covered. Remote shepherds without access to the city have no chance to sell their wool and are therefore often forced to discard it. Our partner in Kyrgyzstan provides these shepherds in small villages with so-called wool collection stations, where they can profitably sell their wool, and it is collected from there by our production. This way, we ensure the sustainable use of our resources.

A little wool knowledge: The wool for our insoles comes from small and medium-sized farmers whose farms are located in the highlands of the Naryn-Kul regions in Kyrgyzstan. Harsh highland conditions determine the special properties of Kyrgyz sheep's wool. It has more curls, which allows for the production of a stronger felt that protects better against cold. 🐏

Lieblingsschluffen

Rein schlüpfen, wohlfühlen. Habe meine normale Schuhgröße bestellt, ich trage sie im Frühling, Herbst, Sommer und Winter. Das neue Paar 7mm Einlegesohlen ist ebenfalls sooo bequem. Ich hatte schon viel teurere Markenpantoffeln, die haben alle nur ein oder zwei Winter überlebt. Die WoolFits trage ich das ganze Jahr und sie sind immer noch kuschelig bequem. ICH LIEBE SIE.
